New Posting (3/10): Sorry we haven't posted to our friends and fans in a while. 2009 found us once again - lead guitarless. We've played with a lot of talented guitarist In Sacto, but we're happy to say that 2010 brings us an amazing new lead guitarist, Thomas Murphy. Thomas has played with several top Sacramento bands including 80s band, NoBozos, as well as a host of well known artists, including Eddie Money. Thomas is one of Skip Music's local guitar teachers as well. We are ecstatic to have Thomas aboard and once again Rock Of Ages sets out with a new guitarist, new songs and a NEW ATTITUDE. Come Rock with us in 2010!
New Posting (10/08):
We're delighted to introduce our newest bandmate - Jeff Merrick. Jeff was formerly with local Sac band, Undercover and he is an absolutely awesome guitarist and vocalist. Jeff brings a new level of professionalism to Rock of Ages and will take over a lot of the male vocals (giving Val a much needed break) and shreading up the guitar riffs to our audience's delight. Make sure you come out and see Jeff do his stuff!
As you are all probably aware, our drummer, Patrick McCoy is back with us after a hiatus. We're glad to be playing with Patrick again, he is also taking over some more of the vocal duties in the band.
New posting (9/10/07):
This weekend (9/7 & 8), ROA vistited their favorite Elk Grove club - The Elk Grove Sports Bar. We always have a special time at the EGSB and want to extend thanks to all our friends and fans for coming down to share this special weekend. A very very special thanks to Patrick McCoy who (without rehersal) came in and did a tremendous job on the drums Saturday night. It was just like old times - only better!! Thanks PM! We saw a lot of people sporting their ROA t-shirts (see new pics below!)

We had a blast at Arco Arena and would like to thank Nita, Melvin and Dorthy for having us back for the 3rd time this season! It was a wild time with even wilder women in the audience. Great to see some old friends in the audience, the lovely Grace from Essex and her husband Bill, guitarist/neighbor - Tim and Wil & Alex. Go Kings!
As we start a New Year with 2007, we bid a fond farewell to our friends and bandmates, Patrick and Paul, who are pursuing their own individual musical paths. We welcome new bandmates Jeff Salsa and "Doc Willy" Drone. New pics and updated bios are coming!
Oh Man What A Year! We've had over 30 gigs this our first year with a few more to end the year up. We can't thank our fans enough for all your support this year! Arco Arena wants us back for a Thanksgiving Bash Wednesday night November 22. Can't wait to rock That house again. We'll be at Louie's on December 8th. Things are in the works for the first of the year, so we'll be seeing all of you soon!
We're pleased to announce Rock Of Ages' debut appearance at the Arco Arena's fabulous Corona Cantina at the Kings October 20th pre-season game. The band will play for an hour prior to the game, at halftime, and after the game. We're looking forward to seeing all our Kings fans there rocking the night away in support of our great Sacramento Kings!
We've just added new photos below in our picture gallery of our fans in their Rock Of Ages t-shirts. E-mail us your picture and we'll add it to the collection!
